Lille is inventive
Euralille: Lille's Business Hub
Euralille is Lille’s thriving business district. Created 15 years ago, the area today boasts nearly 273,000 square meters of office space and 9,000 jobs (projected to reach 15,000) in the consulting, banking, insurance, finance, and service industries. Located next to Lille’s two train stations—Lille Europe and Lille Flandres—Euralille is synonymous with business. Well-known and respected architects Rem Koolhaas, De Portzamparc, Viguier, Nouvel, and Vasconi have left their marks here. And soon, Euralille 2 and a 4-star Lucien Barrière Hotel and Casino—constructed according to high environmental quality standards—will define a new era for the district.
